My name is Omar Cardenas Ochoa, and I am the owner of O.C.O. Landscaping.
I have been doing landscaping since I can remember. My dad who is also named Omar, which makes me Omar Jr., is also a landscaper. Since I was about 6 years old I had been going to work with him. This is where I learned how to make money and learned what working was all about. Both of my parents are business owners and this has really impacted my mind set on not wanting to be an employee. From both my parents I learned about the benefits about being a business owner, and also the negatives, but this didn’t deter me.
Both my parents originate from the small town of Santa Maria del Oro, Jalisco, Mexico. They have taught me that with hard work you can obtain anything your mind desires and the sky’s the limit.
In 2022 I passed my contractors license exam, officially establishing my business and myself as a landscaping contractor. I am also on the path to obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in business management, all with the end goal to be able to provide consumers the best quality service and experience.
